College Track

College Track

College Track is determined to make college graduation an expectation, not the exception in Watts. Our partnership with the Wasserman Foundation, the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, Partnership for Los Angeles Schools, and Green Dot Public Schools brings new educational resources to this community. In 2015, we launched our program with a cohort of 60 students from Jordan High School. We will add 75 new students every year growing to serve 300 high school students by 2019. College Track Watts will provide students with the support and commitment they need to enroll in and graduate from college.

College Track was founded in 1997. Today, our program serves more than 2,400 students across eight communities. We have six sites in California – East Palo Alto, Oakland, San Francisco, Sacramento, and the Los Angeles communities of Boyle Heights and Watts – one site in New Orleans, and one in Aurora, Colorado. In the summer of 2016, we will open our ninth site in Denver.
